​The 2025 Armada ARV 106 has been reimagined to deliver a more playful and versatile experience across the mountain. With a 106mm waist and a twin-tip design, it caters to skiers who enjoy a mix of freestyle and all-mountain skiing.​

This year's model features a 100% poplar wood core, offering a lively and responsive feel. The addition of Armada's w3Dgewall construction—a 3D-molded sidewall integrated into the core—enhances durability and edge grip while reducing weight. The ski's AR Freestyle Rocker profile, with rockered tips and tails combined with positive camber underfoot, allows for smooth turn initiation and stability in various snow conditions. ​‍

On groomed runs, the ARV 106 provides reliable edge hold and responsive carving, making it suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers. In the park, its twin-tip design facilitates switch skiing and freestyle maneuvers, while the 106mm waist offers sufficient float for venturing into softer snow. However, in deeper powder, the ski's width may limit flotation compared to wider models, and its medium flex might not offer the dampening required for extremely aggressive terrain. ​

Compared to its predecessor, the 2025 ARV 106 has a softer tip, providing more progression through the front half of the ski. This adjustment offers better suspension when navigating choppy snow and makes turn initiation more intuitive. The tail remains slightly stiffer to support longer turns and landings.
