The 2025 Armada BDog remains one of the most distinctive freestyle skis on the market, purpose-built for the butteriest, most style-driven park skiers out there. Co-designed with Phil Casabon—aka BDog himself—this ski isn't about charging hard or carving trenches. It's a tool for creativity, built for presses, pivots, slashes, and slow-motion style in the park and on natural features.
Coming in at 94mm underfoot with ultra-fat tips and tails, the BDog’s unique shape gives it a loose, surfy feel, especially when paired with the exaggerated rocker and minimal camber. Armada’s signature Circle Flex profile—super soft in the tip and tail, stiffer underfoot—lets you nose press like you're floating but still gives you enough stability to stomp landings or slash through chop. The poplar ash core and 2.5mm edges give it a decent amount of strength for rail abuse without making it feel planky.
On snow, this ski behaves exactly how you’d expect: loose and buttery. It's the king of low-speed, low-impact creativity. Spins come around effortlessly, surface tricks feel like second nature, and transitions between features are smooth and intuitive. That said, don’t expect it to hold up under high-speed charging or rough landings—it’s not built for that. Compared to the 2024 version, the 2025 BDog sticks to its roots with only minor tweaks—mostly graphic updates and subtle refinements to the core layup and flex consistency. No major shape or rocker changes, which makes sense: Armada knows better than to mess with one of the most beloved park skis in the freestyle world.
Versus similar skis like the Vishnu Wet or ON3P Magnus 90, the BDog sits right in the sweet spot between playfulness and control. It's softer than the ON3Ps but with more edge hold and durability than the Vishnus.
